Planet Shine
I made this game for the official Beginner's Jam March 2025 with the theme: "Reflection"
Instructions:
Each Game Starts with a Sun in the center. It has a Light Ray that will rotate at a random speed and direction.
When the Light Ray intersects with a Planet, it will illuminate the Planet.
Press LEFT CLICK during the intersection window to permanently illuminate the Planet.
If you correctly time your LEFT CLICK during the intersection window, the Planet will be permanently illuminated. The Planet will then become the new Reflection Point.
The Planet will gain its own Light Ray. Now, continue to Reflect the light onto other Planets until they are all Reflecting Light. Once they are all Reflecting, a new level will auto start with more Planets.
Your Reflection Count will increase the more Planets you Reflect Light on to. Once the Time Left runs out, the game is over.
What's the highest Reflection Count you can get?
How the game plays into the theme:
My game fits the theme of "Reflection" because the player Reflects light rays from planet to planet until all of them are illuminated.
How the music plays into the theme:
The composer gave lots of room for cuts/edits in the music. The heavy delay was in cohesion with the ‘reflection’ concept.

I was only able to reach 14, but it was pretty fun!
